Hey, for my guitar class final I have to play and sing a song with 2 chorus's, 2 verses, and 3 chords. I have no problem with the playing aspect, but its the singing while I am playing that is giving me trouble. Can anyone reccommend a song that is easy to sing and play at the same time? This one kid in my class did hey joe, I really wish I had thought of that. Thanks.
The first time I heard a Beatles song was "Let It Be." Some little kid was singing along with it: "Let it pee, let it pee" and pretending he was taking a leak. Hey, that's what happened, OK?-some guy

What is you're vocal range?
What songs are you most comfortable playing?
David's lesson on Hurt by Johnny Cash is easy to play and sing. I myself, have a deep voice and feel I can play and sing this and be very comfortable doing so.
That old country classic Amanda by Waylon Jennings. Someone posted it in the Easy Songs Database Forums

Its cool, my school has a guitar class, but only begginer level, so I didn't learn anything, but I got to play guitar everyday, and get a credit for it.
