It's got all the elements of country . . . shades of YeeHaw . . .
. . . I can smell the hay . . . let's hop on the tractor and ride her in to town . . .

I like it.

Is this an original?

KR2

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

that is a great listen!! and well played. I hope the word "cheeky" has the same meaning over there as it does here - because that is a cracking little cheeky sounding instrumental. made me smile.

yep. this is an original. I do sneak in a few notes from some familiar licks. I am not exactly sure what licks; maybe a bit of 'Yakety Sax' and "Farmer is the Man'?

cheeky farmer. yeah. it translates. with this piece I wanted to further explore open G tuning and not play anything like Keith Richards. I tried to play all over the neck using a few techniques; muting, string bends, chicken picking, etc.
yeehaw.
the corn is green.

thanks for listening.

well, I meant that 'cheeky' is understood. I just put a farmer on the end of it for some reason.
farmers can be cheeky. yes?

'lyrics':
You can say my pockets are empty today
You can say I never seen no school
But you can't say I aint an honest man
And sir, you've gotta understand
The Truth s worth a lot down here

You can say I never seen no town but my own
But atleast I've seen God
I go to church every week
And what they say is true
The word of God is all I need to sew
