I hope you can go and enjoy it for me!
I've seen Clapton and I've seen Bruce -- they're both amazing musicians. I'd love to see them together with Baker reliving the days of Cream. And the show in London is probably the only time they'll ever do it.
Lucky Brits!

I would do anything to go see that show. I was looking through my dad's CD collection and found some cream songs. It was some of the greatest songs I've ever heard. I love white room. If anyone goes, come back and post some pics. Thanks

I've been a fan since 1967..I tried to get tickets when they went onsale (Got up at 3AM East Coast time (US) ..I could not get thru..What a rip-off! Wonder how many were really on sale? I've bought their albums, cds, I have an outographed album..and could not get tickets..What a rip-off..This leave's a bad taste in my mouth..Fans were not even considered...Hope the "insiders" that got tickets get their money's worth..We fans paid for their popularity..the "insiders" get the perks...Figures...

Well I'll be!

The one section of the site I barely ever check, announced what I've been looking for a long time ago. haha. Christ!

I was going to go to London for this.

They should come to New York for God's sake. The capital of the world.

Just kidding, some New Yorker ego for all of you. But really ,they should do the states.

There are a few british companies offering packages....cosidering the tickets were all sold the same day, there were about 10 or 12 companies offering tickets the sunday after.....let me check the paper this sunday, I'll post a few links.....

Vic

And yeah, you'd think they would do a few American gigs....OK they were a british band, but they were HUGE in the states, didn't they record their live album over there?

What? Gary Moore was unavailable, so Bruce and Baker (BBM: Bruce Baker Moore) had to revert to Eric Clapton? Sorry, just have a problem with Clapton. Granted he has done some good things and Cream came up with Badge and White Room that were really good, but that's all. What I always particularly hated about them was their arrogance. In case you don't know, the real name of the band is not Cream, it's The Cream, as in "the cream of musicians" which they are not. Quite a difference.

There aren't many better guitarists around than Eric, Ginger Baker was and still is a superb drummer, and if there's ever been a better bass player than Jack Bruce he's yet to come to my attention......

I feel free....Crossroads....White room....Sunshine of your love....Badge... Strange brew....I could name another 30-40 songs that any band in the world would be proud to have on their CV.....

Yeah AJ...Not sure who you'd have wanted to play guitar for them if not Clapton...Seeing as it is a Cream reunion...

And...Clapton has probably inspired millions of people with his music, including me actually.

Well, A-J, you fly in the face of everyone else, including Clapton (who refers to it as "Cream"), by calling it "the Cream". If this were the case things like "Fresh Cream" and "Cream Reunion" would have to be retitled.

The only reference that I can find, that comes anywhere near, is when Clapton made the comment on US TV that it was their arrogance and the name was a reference to the fact that they thought they were "the cream of the crop" (not cream of musicians), which at the time, they arguably were.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
