I'm afraid I have to take leave of GN. I find myself wasting too much of my time on it when I'm not really learning much from it. No fault of the forum. I want to learn some soloing techniques, whammy bar tricks, that sort of thing. My teacher is far more effective and showing me that than anyone on the forum.
Plus, I may have even less time if I get this promotion. I work at a Call Centre at the entry level position, at the end of my shift, I leave, whether there are still calls in the queue or not. With this new job, I take escalated calls and am done when the queue is empty. As far as getting it, they are looking for 9 people and there are 11 canidates. So far, no one has been told they got it. A couple people were told they didn't get it. So I'm not sure why they don't know who did get the job. I feel like an American Idol contest. Keep your fingers crossed for me though.
I'll still be playing guitar. Come the end of the month, I'll be playing at a party. My friend is going to bring his drum kit too. So it'll be interesting. Guess he expects me to take care of the vocals too. Also expecting a big refund check due to tax time. So between the promotion(fingers crossed) and the refund, that Gibson Explorer will be mine! It's no Squier '51 but it'll do for now. Just messing with you guys.
Anyway, my account will be left open but Nick is going to change my password to lock it. It's less work than deleting my account. Keep on rockin in the free world! Live and learn! With the lights out, it's less dangerous. And yes, you can uncross your fingers to type replies.
Aw, shucks! :o
Check back in now and then, OWA.

We never interracted but I still whish you all the best with your promotion.
And with your guitar too. Never let it go, take it from an old geezer, it'll haunt you back. :D
And may you find your second wing. These things perform better in pair.
I wish you good luck with everything in life, OWA.
When you can play all of Dime's stuff, come down to Georgia and be my teacher, he is my hero.
PS.
Anybody want to take bets on how long it takes her to come back? I'll say two weeks....
