i tried to browse GN forums but for last 4 hrs or so ...they were closed..

Or was there a problem with my server ??

I was really scared ..thought as if the RIAA shut down GN just like mxtabs
Thank god , GN's still here .. i really really missed it

All's well that ends well :D

Sometimes we have to do some maintenance. Being an international community, there is no "safe" time to do this. You should always be able to reach the GN Homepage, so you will be able to relax that all is well.

The home page was not available either. That was the first thing I tried due to the severe withdrawal I was going through

I had to run out to a couple of guitar stores just to ease the withdrawal, but thankfully it is back.

There was a Denial of Service attack. It wasn't directed at us but it took us down with it. There wasn't anything I could do so I went to bed and slept like a baby. Glad to see the situation was resolved when I got up.

Next time something like this happens I'm going to pull a Homer:
I'll hide under some coats, and hope that somehow everything will work out.
