Grandchild #16 arrived early this morning - he was very premature, about 8 weeks, but is healthy and surprisingly heavy for such an early arrival - 4lbs, 4oz (2 kilos.) Obviously he'll spend some time in the special care baby unit, but doctor's 100% optimistic - so hello James! (His mother's naming him after her grandad.)
No pics yet, but Marilyn's hoping to get to the hospital later....
:D :D :D

EDIT - pic added later in thread....

Congrats to you and yours. :D Good to know the doctor says it's all going to be fine. :)
That's great, Vic!
I've just come out of the Music Theory forum and wondered what the heck a sharp sixteenth was good for.

Wow, sixteen grandkids! Congratulations, Vic.
James was my dad's name, and so is the first name of one of my nephews, the middle name of another nephew, and my own son's middle name, as well.
4 lbs, 4 oz is a nice size for one so early. I recently heard about one only half that, at just over 2 lbs.
Best wishes to baby James and all the family,
:D

Hey congratulations Vic!
Congrats old man :D
Congrats Vic
I'd start him off with some simple chords and then lead him into progressions between those chords. Maybe a scale or two in another couple weeks.

A sharp 16th would be a flattened third - not that it's a minor event to us......
