Yes, Guitar Center is the owner of MF, and Music123, and Giardinelli.

Among others ...

Including the Harmony Central review site!

Through various mergers and acquisitions GC currently rules over MF, Music123, Musician.com and HC.

Pretty much everything online. Lets just hope they keep providing good service.

If you want someone different, there is "americanmusical.com" and "samedaymusic.com"/ "zzounds.com" (the last two are owned by the same company.

It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!

I've bought from Zzounds and been well satisfied with the transactions.

Yeah, kinda wierd that GC and Musician's Friend both have websites...

Check out Sweetwater as well. I've found them to have EXCELLENT customer service.

My original question came up because I was trying to track down a Squier 51 for a friend. I did a "google" and up popped two hits for vintage blonds, one at GC and one at Musicians Friend. A search of both sites revealed nothing but when I sent emails to ask if there was indeed carryover stock the contact forms looked identical. GC replied that it must have been an old cached page. Unfortunately none of the other sites mentioned have any either. May have to try the ebay route. Later

I'd've figured that search would turn up something like this:

"A cheerful heart is good medicine."

I saw one in Long&Mcquade in Winnipeg back in the summer.
I think they wanted about $200 for it.
I haven't been in there in a while, so i don't know if it is still there.

Ricochet, I just noticed the amazing resemblance between you and the vintage blond. Can I have the earrings when you get bored with them?

Kent, I will be away for a short time, wl call them when I get back. Thanx.

I was in on Friday and didn't see it on the floor anymore.
I didn't ask anyone, though.
