I am looking for a good tuner that wont cost a lot and is very accurate.
Thanks and God Bless :D :D :D
Excellent timing I'm in the market for the same thing. I know several people have recommended the Boss TU-2 tuner pedal, but the Fender PT-100 pedal has got decent reviews at less than half the price.
Actually now that I reread your post you were only interested in a tuner not necessarily one built into a pedal.

Good call. I like that one myself!!

I have heard good things about the Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner.
When away from the computer, this is what I have. Always reliable always accurate!

I had a korg tuner that now seems discontinued.
I am currently using a Korg CA-30 because it was cheap and gets decent reviews.
I am looking for something to add to a pedal board though, so I looked at this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sabine-STX1100-Chromatic-AutoTuner?sku=211023 ,
but decided to get the boss TU-2 http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Boss-TU2-Chromatic-Stompbox-Tuner?sku=213012

I've got a Korg GT-12 that I enjoy. Chromatic, manual or automatic modes and popular open tunings.

I have a Korg TM-40. It is a tuner and also a metronome. And I'm very happy with it.
I use the CA-30 and like it a lot. The TM-40 does look very interesting though.
I've got the Boss Tu-2 also, but it confused the hell out of me trying to use it. I'm sure that's just a learning curve though, I don't get on with most tuners until I've sussed how they signal sharp/flat notes (e.g. A sharp). just tried tuning my guitar and ended up with a weird jazz chord when I was done cos I didn't realise I'd tuned half the strings a semitone sharp. :?
I've got the Korg CA-30 and it works very well. It's small, cheap enough, the batteries last forever, and it's pretty accurate. I got my nephew the Korg TM-40 combo tuner/metronome and he has had no problems but it is larger than the CA-30 but it's smaller than taking both the separate Korg tuner and metronome if you want both.
I recently picked up the Peterson StroboStomp and I like that a lot. It tunes a lot more accurately than the Korg, it's got some interesting "sweetened" tunings, and the pedal form is more useful. It's also a lot more expensive and bigger.
One of the guys in my guitar workshop group uses the Planet Waves pedal tuner and likes it. I heard that Planet Waves is going to put their desktop strobe tuner into a pedal form in the near future.

Thanks again :D
looks pretty good. 2 of the 7 viewable reviews are not so good, but the other 5 seem rather favorable. Price is good, but for 20 bucks you can get the Korg ca-30 and it gets overall, a whole lot better reviews.
