This guitar was built for Pat Metheny, I wonder how he plays it???

Here's a link to the Luthiers page:

I would imagine you'll have to start tuning that creation about 2 days in advance of wanting to play it. :D

How weird, and I generally love weird guitars. Looks like there was a transporter malfunction whilst Cartage was beaming up a bunch of lutes and guitars!

Oh and a harp in there somewhere.

Uhh...the more I look at it, the better I like it. :)

By the time you finish tuning it the first neck you tuned would be out of tune again!

Yeah, but with 42 strings, some of them are going to be in tune, no matter how bad it is :)

The case for that thing must be butugly!

I wanted to learn to play guitar really badly and I think that I have succeeded.

that's crazy looking... I'll stick with six strings for the next couple of years anyway...

I'll only be down there (in the basement practicing) for a couple of minutes or so...

8, 10, and 12 string guitars don't seem so scary anymore.

I would not want to be the one who has to change the strings on that thing.

What?!? No way. Just put a clock face in the front of it and hang it on your wall.

More hysterical laughter

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
