Ever since I got up close and personal with the guitar a few years back I've had a little fantasy about opening a small music store that would sell mostly guitars, provide lessons, build custom axes, and do the normal luthier stuff. Not going to happen any time soon (I'm certainly not qualified on the luthier side yet) but would be a great thing to aspire to in my older years.

With that said, any time I see an empty store-front I think about what my shop would look and sound like. And also what I would call my store. I haven't really thought of anything good yet... Maybe something quiant like "The Guitar Closet" or "The Guitar Case" or maybe just "Sounds and Words" or simply "The Dali's Custom Shop".

Anyone else have a similar fantasy? What would you name your guitar shop?

Neat idea...I've not thought much about it before. I think maybe "Bustin Strings". My last name is Bustin :D

I've usually seen it with an S on the end, instead of an F.

it was the catchiest thing i could think up at the time

And you know those peolpe who can't afford no intention of ever purchasing and return week after week ?

My sales people would tell , ( singing to a bit of country music )

Do I look like I Give Flip DILLIGAF

Do I look like I Give Flip DILLIGAF

My sales people would have shirts with it printed on and when a customer was giving them a hard time they could say read this

DILLIGAF

Stress relief made easy

OK OK This is all tongue in cheek

But it would be funny , hey mum can you take me to DILLIGAFs'

Not sure what I'd name it but I'd know where to put it. There's a street named Gibson here, so I'd put it there.

I love the 'The Peg Head' and the 'Neck Twister'

The latter one may scare away those who don't know the anatomy of the guitar.
