- Your fingers are burning, your totally frustrated with whatever your working on yet, for some reason, you keep picking up your guitar.

You cant wait to get off work to try a new riff you just thought of while looking at some guys MRI scan at work ...ken
You go on holiday to the carribean for 2 weeks and miss your guitar the whole time. Come home and realise that you are now almost back to where you started, with sore fingers and zero accuracy, get very frustrated yet come in to work and wish you had a guitar with you, then start getting GAS for a new one.
you hear any jingle or theme song and can't resist noodleing it if there is a guitar within reach...

you walk down the street listening to music on headphones and make chord shapes and strumming patterns with your hands
you sit in important classes not paying attention 'cos all you can think about is playing
you sit in lectures and write song lyrics and doodle pictures of guitars
you'd rather play guitar than make your dinner
you'd rather play guitar than do your homework
you spend time posting on guitar forum's instead of doing your dissertation! :P

LOL - yesterday I was out to eat with my wife and we were holding hands. She got into her purse and puplled out some lotion and started to apply some to my hands. I had to stop her and make sure she didn't get any on my calloused finger tips!

Mine is: when you take twice as long to type things at work because you insist on using your left pinky more than is comfortable, just to build strength... you may notice that most of my typos are on the letters on the left of the keyboard :wink:
