I know now that I'm going to write it that I'm going to get her name wrong but should we think about offering Electrablue a key to the moderator's forum. She is running the easy songs database and I think that, given the chance, she'd probably totally revitalise the Other Side Forum.

My two cents, anyway...

Peace

Sounds like a great idea to me.

Let me think about that. I'll have a cuppa and let you know.

We should let Tom moderate the theory pages though. At least he should have an honorary key.

While we are on the subject of modifications, what should the blurb be in the new section you proposed in the newsletter?

Talk about my being brainless this weekend! I have, right here on my desk, a big note that says "Tom - Moderator!" and it might as well be the Loch Ness Monster!

Definitely give Tom the nod. It's way overdue.

Concerning the blurb, how about:

Create your own personal course of study here at Guitar Noise. Tell us where you're at and what you'd like to learn next and we'll try to help direct you to the articles and lessons best suited for you. We'll even recomment outside sources when applicable!

Or something like that?

By the bye, any ideas on a hosting site for the SSG CD yet? I may be able to do it at soundclick, but I'm going to need someone else to administer the site. I'm thinking this is a good time to get a volunteer from the SSG...

Peace

Any objection to adding Wes Inman to Amps & EFX? He's always there, and he always has an answer (of course, it's always the same answer  ). He and Joe (Forrok) make a good team. I can't wait for them to make a HRD with an attenuator...

I already ran it passed HRH Nick, and he gave it his blessing.

I'll invite them all.

And it's MOM, (Mother of all Moderators), not HRH I'll have you know.

Great idea, but we're going to need a bigger coffee machine.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Oh, I forgot, yes to Blue and Tom too!

Great news.
Nick, have you considered Grand Poobah as an official handle? :?

Isn't that the leader of the Royal Order of Water Buffaloes?

I was thinking much more iron fist, like "the mother of all battles"

Welcome to the moderators, Leslie! Just remember to tell yourself what we have to keep telling Nick, "Only use your power for good and don't succumb to the dark side..."

Peace
