Another hot spot to watch.

I posted a request to keep it on topic
 Arjen must have missed his morning pot of coffee!
Is it just me or does it seem that Rahul is beginning to get out of hand? His responses in posts lately have been rude, and appear to be attempting to make trouble. I'm afraid I let him have it in this post, http://forums.guitarnoise.com/viewtopic.php?p=314222#314222 , and the post of his that I deleted said something along the lines that the discussion was going to ruin GN, because it involved women it should be moved to The Other Side (I suppose so that he couldn't accidentally run across it and insult his intelligence). Just typical Rahul ignorance that I personally took offense to.
Granted, it's a pretty lame discussion, but it's about music, and others appear to want to discuss it, but Rahul is being a butthead. I usually try to just skim over Rahul's posts because he never really has anything to say, but lately, even skimming gets my blood to boiling!

These things always get out of hand on O & P. The next comment that wanders off into political discussion will mean that I'll lock the topic. Yes, it probably is the full moon.

Just when I thought he was showing signs of maturing a little
I just got rid of the "songs/artists you don't like" thread. It was heating up again and I figured it was best to douse the flames.

A good idea! :D We may have the other thread back on it's original track after Rahul's abrupt "departure", but I'll definitely keep an eye on it, too! (And I'll try not to lose my temper again, as I did with Rahul!)

One less thing to worry about
It seems like we can only go for about six months or so before someone has to start a fight. But until these started, we had had a pretty long calm period.
I think maybe it's global warming giving everyone prickly heat!

That might start a political discussion
Hey, I diverted one in News on the subject of guns and self-defense, complete with Vic legitimately griping about how badly the English judicial system treated him when he defended himself barehandedly against a thug with a knife. That sort of stuff pushes my buttons, but I acknowledged it and went back to talking about turtles.

Rahul's had a hissy fit, stamped is foot and shouted "bugger" before, and departed GN before.
