I currently have a Bass POD, however every time I try and do something with it to get a good sound out of it I just fall out with it because I find the sounds to be bad. It isn't that it is broken but the way it plays with the signal is not to my taste.

Sometimes I will save a setting. Come back to it another time and it will sound different? What's the deal? And for this reason I am thinking of getting rid of it. However, if anyone knows how to get a good sound out of it could you perhaps post?

But enough of that? I thought about either buying some sort of effects DI box that is a little more simple. Either the MXR M-80 by Dunlup or a Sansamp bass DI by Tech21.

What are your opinions on both of these and what are the differences?cheers

This is my rifle, this is my gun; this is for fighting, this is for fun!
