Considering buying a MAG series amp by Ashdown. And want to know if i'd be able to get any distortion/overdrive out of it?
Also, what are your opinions on the amps?

Good Question. I'd like to know myself, because I am interested in their gear, too. I have read good reviews of some of their products.

Great, but that doesn't answer my question

Right, and your point is? Don't be a smart Horse-Donkey breed. There are few bass players here and even less with Ashdown experience. Be Patient! Someone might answer, I think DemoEtc has some experience with Ashdown.

Me? No Ashdown amps I'm afraid. I did mention the Ashbory shortscale bass once though. :)
Well, I I know somebody here mentioned em once. I'll do a search and see. Maybe it was another forum. I'll look around and see.

There is an article here on Guitarnoise that Laz pointed out to me.

Thanks, read it. But, I'm looking at Gallien-Krueger Heads with a 1x15 inch speaker of some sort. Problem is sorting out the wattage :?
