I dig the treble-side finger rest. I bet it's got a real warm tone when you play right over that wide neck pickup.

I'll bet it does.

They weren't in production very long apparently, but they were there in the stores when I was just starting out so to me at least, it was a 'standard' bass; you'd see a P, a J and a Tele. Then it disappeared. Lots of guys were using them back then too. Funny to think of it and go "hey I remember those! Where did they get to?"

They have that '51 reissue P bass (with the slab sides and weird pickguard), and I saw that and at first thought - oh a Tele Bass! But alas, they're 'still' forgotten about.
