Anyone have any experience of an under-saddle piezo on a solid bass body? Like the Samick Remington SAB13? The claim seems to be that you can get a decent (acoustic-sounding) amplified noise without the feedback problems. Any input?
Or maybe someone has tried the Yamaha BEX4C - an under-saddle piezo together with a humbucker. I intend to get to play these instruments (when I can find them in the UK!) but wondered if anyone out there knew anything about them.

I'm not familiar with those, but I do know that the Parker Fly Bass has them too, along with magnetic pickups.
