Ok so I was stupid and broke a finger about a month ago now, its coming along well, any advice from you seasoned pros on getting my dexterity back??
No tips for the finger, but I love your Art & Lutherie. I have one, but without the cutaway/electronics.
Vacate is the word...Vengance has no place on me or her...Cannot find a comfort in this world.
Thanks. I went to pick up my yamaha the day I got him, but as soon as I played him I knew he was mine. I treat him like a kid more than a guitar but hey :)
My advice is: Don't do it again.

take it easy and if it starts to hurt, stop for a bit
I broke a finger last year. I found that I had to really be careful about the angles that I used it as much as the strength it needed. It made me much more conscious of that finger but I basically would just stop playing when there was pain (but also played until there was pain as I tried to get my finger's strength back).
Basically, it was a major annoyance, then a slight annoyance, then I forgot it happenned until someone posted about it :)
