Cabinet Tunning

Can someone tell me the basics of tunning an amp cabinet.I,ve never had one before,and my basic amp settings don't sound right.Gain 7,Treble 5,no bass ,or mids.

setings for amps vary with what kind of sound or tone you are looking for.

the settings you posted are a bit odd.
treble might be ok.
but you need to fill out the bottom end.
increase the bass. mine is straight up for some things and even higher for others.

you can increase your mid range too. do it slowly or incrementally. listen to what it does to the sound.

sound like scooped mids. think v shape. treble up bass up mid low.

for cutting through with a lead when in a band some boost the treble.too low of treble and your guitar will be lost in a loud situation.
