Heyy!
I've been wanting to learn a new song on guitar. As it's currently 1.10am in the morning I was looking on youtube to watch people do covers of different songs of the ones I liked.
I've decided I want to learn "Fall Out Boy - Thnks fr th Mmrs" one of the people who did a perfect version is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seVGzsvJ0XM&mode=related&search=
I then searched around for the tabs to see where he got it from.. the one it looks most like is: http://guitartabkills.blogspot.com/2007/06/thnks-fr-th-mmrs-tab-by-fall-out-boy.html is that exactly what he plays? Or is it something different? If it is the same tabs, what fingers would I use for what? Is it an easy song to learn?
Cheers guys. :]

I'm not sure if that tab is 100% what he plays. I'll tab it out for you in the morning if you want, just it's 10 past 2 in the morning

There ya go :D
This version is pretty much exactly what Aryakeren plays and is a little different to the Fall Out Boy Version. It's a pretty easy song to learn. My advice would be that on the palm muted bits do alternative picking. It may seem more natural to do all down picks but in the end you'll regret it if you want to learn anything faster because you'll have to break that habit. If you've got any questions feel free to pm me.
By the way in the tremelo bit I think he makes a mistake but I've tabbed it in because it sounds quite good

I would like to play this but I've got a tiny problem,. I only have a regular cheap not so good tuner, but it works for tuning but I can't do alternative tunings, should just tune it to D according to my tuner, Is that going to work even though it's not the right string? I suppose I could just use my ear to try figure it out but if that works it would be more simple.

Thanks

@chlozo I think the only way to determine the patternt is to listen closely to the the song and copy what he's playing.

@Henrik try using your tuner, it may work and I can't see any harm in trying. If it doesn't you could either tune it to your regular d string or use harmonics to tune it. If thats too hard I think you can download tuning programs which work fairly well try searching for "guitar tuner input" or something similar.

BTW the beginning of my original tab was completely wrong, lol, I've edited it now so it should be fine

henrik: You can use your tuner, just tune it to E while holding the second fret of the E string down
