does anyone have a clue what i can do... i have a fender strat and i always get a buzzing sound just from the 8th fret on every string! its not that im fingering the fret wrong...its just that one fret that always buzzes!! :roll:

It is possible that the "neck relief" needs to be adjusted since that is around the middle.
If that is the case it is a pretty easy adjustment. You can take the link to my pages below and go through the checking step under "basic setup" to see if that is the case.
It could also be just one high fret. You can check it by laying a straight edge over the frets and see if one is high. The "neck relief" should actually be checked before you decide you have a high fret.
If it is high it can be lowered but not necessarily by other than a skilled technician.
