I was youtubing a Beatles song the other day to play along with and the Karaoke version came up with the words and all. As I am sure you all know there are tons of these on youtube. They made me wonder if anyone ever thought to put the words with the chords above on youtube in the forum we are all familiar with getting from our ESD or various tab/chord sites.
I think it would be a nice way to learn a song/play along. It would reduce the volume of paper I often have lying around my desk/shelf/music stand/floor
Has anyone ever seen any such youtube vids? I know there are a lot of lesson videos out there and I would be suprised if some of them don't include the words and chords just like a Karaoke machine.
I do some song lessons on youtube, and that's acutally going to be my new format for songs that are strumming I introduce the chords, then the strum pattern, or suggested strum pattern, then put the words and the chords during the video. It's a TON of work though!
On a Ukulele site I belong to they take it a step further than that even:
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
