i;m trying to learn semi-folky stuff like Jack Johnson's or Damien Rice...does anyone know any other cool artists that sound kinda similar, maybe a little more groove oriented?

you might like Grant Lee Phillips.
there's also a site called Pandora. You tell Pandora who you like and Pandora comes back with suggestions. check it out.

G-Love and Special Sauce. They tour with Jack Johnson, and the two are friends. They sounds similar, and they share that kind of groove.

Matt Costa, he's not as similar, but still has the cool, relaxed acoustic vibe.

Vacate is the word...Vengance has no place on me or her...Cannot find a comfort in this world.

Lets see...who do I want to play like??? Hmm..that's a small list...off the top of my head I'd have to say: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jimmy Page, Duane Allman, Angus Young, George Thorogood, and maybe Billy Gibbons.....and that's it. Just a couple of people really. ;)

Jason Mraz has sort of similair music, on his album mostly, and it's a little more ub beat.
