I could swear I saw a lesson at Guitar Noise regarding song intros but cannot find it.
Anyway, Late last night I was asked to put together a solo performance for a worship service this Saturday.
I have come up with a simple medley (Holy Holy Holy, Be Still My Soul, What A Friend) in the Key of A. I will play it on a nylon classical guitar.
I am having difficulty coming up with a semi-classical sounding intro resolving to an A chord (A melody note).
So far I have D#dim7 -> E -> Esus4 -> E -> A, but I am having difficulty with a measure or so of chords preceding the D#dim7.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack

Well, you could do what this fellow does, simply play the verse chords one time, then start singing.

This is not the key of A, but you get the idea.
