A while back I was looking through a Musicians Friend magazine when I stumbled across this practice tool that was basically a neck with strings and that was it. No body for sound. This thing wasn't made for producing any tones just helping you finger chords and such. I wanted to check it out for possible purchase but I can't seem to find it now. I know they have the travel guitars but that isn't what I saw.
I run a CNC machine at work so I have a lot of sitting time. I thought I might put some of my sitting time to good use and practice my fingerings if I can locate this training aid. Has anyone else seen or use this aid that I am speaking of? Any help would be appreciated.

I'll be? I guess that was it. Is that thing worth the money or is it just a waste? A lot smaller than I remeber it being.

I've heard that happens but my wife has assured me that it doesn't apply in my case yet.
