Someone was recently asking about syncopation on the Easy Songs forum. As luck would have it, at this week's lesson my instructor loaned me an old issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine that has an article entitled "Simple syncopated grooves". I checked that article and it has a lot of patterns. It needs quite a time to master them all but there are some excellent ideas over there. Yesterday I took it off after a few months and I managed to play the Beatles pattern (I tought it was no. 8 going like D D Du u u U udu...)
