i have the tabs to the acoustic version of best of me by the starting line, but i suck at hearing the strumming patterns (up, down stroke ect). i hear a pattern that's repeating but i can't figure it out, so i was wondering if someone could post it or something for me. that would be very nice of them. :) just the basic repeating one, you don't have to go into detail with it or anything.

thank youuu. :)

Which best of me are you talking about. The one by bryan adams. If that's the case do it like this. This song doesn't contains strumming continuously , ok?I think that's why your confused. You have to play a bass note and 3 strums total.Atleast that's the way i do it and i find it quite good.(people can bear me  , then). So now -

Play the bass note (A of Amaj chord) and then Down (Hold) , Up , Down

(A bass note) D U D
Sometimes words are hard to find
I'm looking for that perfect line
To let you know your always on my mind
ya this is love - n' i've learned enough to know
i'm never lettin' go
no, no, no - won't let go

Similarly you can do for all other lines , i.e play bass note and then the chord.Enjoy 8)
