OK, let's get the organisational things over with first:

Welcome to the madhouse, the home of the musically insane. 8)

Please don't shout, you'll wake the moderators.

So, you want to know how to change chords, quickly, Grasshopper.

The simple answer is to change chords slowly. Change them slowly and precisely, until your fingers go to the right position automatically, time after time, after time......

When you can do that, speed comes naturally.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Hi and Welcome

Before long with regular practice you will be changing chords without even thinking about it.

When I learn a new chord or transition to a new chord for me it helps when I really slow it down and try to be accurate with my fingering, I will repeat the chord change over and over and over, sooner or later (sometimes later) I will make the change without looking or even thinking about it.

Once I know a chord my teacher really pushes me to change and make the chord with out looking at the fretboard, sometimes I think we over process things when were looking at the fretboard, once I've made the change several times I have to trust my muscle memory. It will get better.

Best advice I can give, TAKE THEM SLOW AT FIRST work on accuracy SPEED WILL COME WITH REPETITION and PRACTICE.

Best of luck

take it slow is good advice. You want to memorize the shape, not the chord.

Also, when you change chords, odds are some finger isn't moving, or isn't moving much. Pivot around it.

If all the fingers are moving, ie C to G, notice that the middle and ring finger shape doesn't change, it just shifts strings.

Funny, but whenever I'm driving, my middle finger never seems to change position either. 8)
