I have two guitar related problems, one is very serious and the other isnt.

Trivia first: :)

I just got an Earthfire acoustic, but the neck radius is too odd for me. I sent it back, and am now 6 string-less again. (Though I have two 5 string basses! :D ).

Serious next:
Raising my arm over an acoustic, and turning my wrist to strum has caused agony in my right shoulder. A solid electric doesnt present this problem to me, but I want an acoustic!!!! Any suggestions folks? Please bear in mind that I'm relatively old, and not as flexible as a youngster!
Maybe a thinline? An Ibanez Talman??? Opinions please!! :!:

I say and write what I'm thinking, then wish I hadnt.
My only redeeming feature is that I'm honest.

Have you tried holding acoustic in classical position? That should aleaviate any strain on your right shoulder

Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

I had the same problem with strumming an acoustic so I practiced with it at a slight angle on my lap so I did not have to bend my wrist. Eventually I was able to straighten it up and have had no problem since.

Thanks guys.

Your suggestions have helped, but I need to use a thin bodied guitar, so. here's the new question:

Given about £200, what slim acoustic is worth considering? An Ibanez Talman, or some other offering?
It's quite hard to figure which manufacturers make thin bodied acoustics, and which dont.
Any advice please?
