This one will give you a chance to use those moveable bar chords, but you can still play it using open chords.
For me personally I love bar chords and they seem to fit this song best beacause you get the piano like sound used by Keane
Everybody's Changing (KEANE)

This song is best played using bar chords
espescially on the Em7 bar it on the 7th fret as it
wasn't written for guitar originally

E A D G B E
Em7 . X 7 9 7 8 7
C . X 3 5 5 5 3
Cmaj7 . X 3 5 4 5 3
Dm . X 5 7 7 6 5
F . 1 3 3 2 1 1
G . 3 5 5 4 3 3
A . 5 7 7 6 5 5

Intro:
C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7
C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7
C Cmaj7 Dm Cmaj7
C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7

C F
You say you wander your own land
Dm
But when I think about it
G C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7
I don't see how you can

C
You're aching, you're breaking
F
And I can see the pain in your eyes
Dm
Says everybody's changing
G C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7
And I don't know why

F G
So little time
C F
Try to understand that I'm
Dm G
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
Em7 A
I try to stay awake and remember my name
Dm G C Cmaj7 C Cmaj7
But everybody's changing and I don't feel the same

Etc....

You're gone from here
Soon you will disappear
Fading into beautiful light
'cos everybody's changing
And I don't feel right

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing and I don't feel the same

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing and I don't feel the same

See you managed to use code then Rodders!!!!

You can still edit this to make the chords line up.....

Click on "edit" in the top right-hand corner of your post, then when it comes up, near the "submit" link, you'll also see "preview"....edit your post, click on "preview," and you'll see your post exactly as it will appear when submitted........just fiddle about with it till everything lines up.......

Another hint, you may be better using full stops rather than "=" between the chord name and the numerals......easier to add and take out than spaces!!!!

Hope this helps,

Vic.

Hi Guys, and gals, I've just been playing Keanes Everybody's Changing and have realised that I cocked up the intro it should be as follows

C / Cmaj7 / Dm / G

Repeat at least 4 times

and strum pattern is / / / / / or if you prefer D D U U D
