OK - I had my mp3 player on shuffle and heard this one today. "What a cool song" I thought. Coming home, I googled for chords, but couldn't find any - so here: exclusively for Guitarnoise - my interpretation of Barry White's Myfirst my last my everything (figured out in exactly 3 minutes </disclaimer>) :D

Not sure if I will ever play it again - I'm not sure if this song is usable for accoustic guitar only at all - but why not - if anyone have suggestions for arrangement it's very welcome

He tend to sing it in F it seems. To make it an easy song for ESD - here it goes in C
Cmaj7 is x32000
easiest F is x33211
and ditto fm x33111

enjoy :)

Intro:
G for four bars (add strings if you have a string quartet handy). On the fourth bar you go G - G7 - G6 - G

And then onto the verse

Cmaj7 | em | am | |
The first, the last, my everything
Cmaj7 | |F | |
And the answer to all my dreams
dm | G | em | am |
You're my sun, my moon, my guiding star
D | |fm |G |
My kind of wonderful, that's what you are
Cmaj7 | |am | |
I know there's only, only one like you
Cmaj7 | | F | |
There's no way they could have made two
F | Fm |
You're all I'm living for
C | am
Your love I'll keep for evermore
dm | G | C |
You're the first, your the last, my everything

And with you I've found so many things
A love so new only you could bring
Can't you see it's you
You make me feel this way
You're like a fresh morning dew on a brand new day
I see so many ways that I
Can love you till the day I die
You're my reality, yet I'm lost in a-a-a a dream
You're the first, the last, my everything

I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
Girl you're my reality
But I'm lost in a-a-a a dream
You're the first, you're the last, my everything

...only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on...
