Can anyone help me with the strumming of " rain down on me" or " Lost together"?

I remember someone showing me this for "Lost Together." If I recall correctly it worked well for most of the song.

G chord: Bass Note/Bass Note/D/D
Em chord: Bass Note/Bass Note/D/D

just repeats.......

Follow the link to the number of strums for each chord.

I've been sticking to DDUD at this point, trying to tackle ths singing at the same time. The alternating bass strum works too but I like the more treble emphasis with this song of straight strumming.

I like playing "Lost Together" with a simple DDDD strum for each chord. It may not be quite the same as the recording, but if you are just using a solo guitar I think it sounds great.

When you get just past the part that goes "And I want all the world to know", I use three downstrokes on the G chord and then switch to the C chord (The G chord does not run through the full measure. Strum these a little louder (listen to the recording to see what I mean).

Hope that helps.

Keep your stick on the ice!
