Although this song is actually a John Prine Song. Dave Matthews apparently loves this song and plays it's regularly. This is a version done by Dave Matthews and Keb Mo.
I tend to use these chords to make it easier, but I do sometimes use barre chords for the Chorus to mix it up

Agreed, best site out there for learning DMB.
Dave's writing and playing seems complex and very difficult at first but once you build up some finger dexterity and learn a few songs, you'll see that he uses a lot of the same "chords" and positionings in a lot of songs.
To start out, try Lie In Our Graves, it's not too too difficult.
