This one is really easy. I found the tab online and reformatted it, added the chords during the lead, and changed the A's to Am's because I think it sounds better that way. Flirting with Time - Tom Petty

I know this is ancient and all, but I just started trying to play this song. Does anyone have a suggestion for strumming? It seems pretty fast...but I am having trouble getting the sound I want.
Thanks!
I play it D D DU DU.
I pretty much have this one down (rhythm) and I love the way it sounds! Definitely for those of you who aren't overly familiar with the song or don't have it available for listening along, you probably want to play the first Dmaj as an introduction, as singing starts on the Em. I also suggest a straight down strum eighth note strum for that first D, and then D D DU DU as stated above. Thanks for all your help! Love the song.
