Great little song this one
First time I ever really listened to it was about the year 2000 and it was done by Jools Holland and JK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFK0piilHtU
Now I know its a lot older than that.
It was originally written in 1935 by Dorothy Fields & Jimmy McHugh for the film Every Night At Eight.

Anyway its a lovely little song, sort of swing jazz style even tho' Jools and JK do it Ska.

I'm in the mood for love
C Dm
I'm In The Mood For Love
G C
Simply because you're near me
Em7 D#m7 Dm7
Funny, but when you're near me
G/f C
I'm in the mood for love.

C Dm
Heaven is in your eyes
G C
True as the stars we're under
Em7 D#m7 Dm7
Is it any wonder
G/F C
I'm in the mood for love?

Dm C
Why stop to think of whether
Dm C
This little dream might fade?
Em Am
We've put our hearts together
D7'
Now we are one,
Gsus4 G
I'm not afraid!

C Dm
If there's a cloud above
G Dm
If it should rain we'll let it
Em7 D#m7-Dm7
But for tonight, forget it!
G/F C
I'm in the mood for love.

Its such a short little song its best just to repeat it

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Good choice, Rodders. :D
Great old song.
I don't totally agree with your chords, but it's very playable as you have it.
One small typo...last verse "we'll let it"...goes back to C there" rather than Dm.
...no offense intended, and regards..

That song always makes me think of one of the episodes of the "Little Rascals" where a frog is in Alfafa's scarf, and it croaks after every verse he sings. The older folks will remember the "Little Rascals".
