Mark- Bass guitar songs?

Easy songs for Bass player-
This is a concept that I didn't even think about.
But I see we now have some Bass songs.
Just my thoughts on this-
They should be in the same simple format as our guitar songs.
I should know exactly what notes to play when I sing each word of the song.
I would like to see this for the whole song, not just one verse and than do the same for the other verses.
It should be written so that someone who just pick up the Bass for the first time could slowly play the notes and sing the words and get through the whole song.
I know nothing about playing the Bass, so I don't know how to list the songs so it would be easy to look them up.  Do they hold chords when they play?
What does the rest of the group think about this?  Any thoughts that you may have would be a big help.
Should you post a note on GN Bass forum and ask for help?
