This song is just too good not to be included on the ESD.
I have always thought that this was Noel's attempt to do a song in the style of "Imagine" by his hero Mr. Lennon. It is for sure an extremely good attempt! Although the depth of lyrics is no where near that of Imagine its a song full of feeling and sends a good message to the listener.
Oasis get a pretty raw deal from most musical pundits but if you look past all the arrogance and bull you will see that at least Noel is an accomplished songwriter and musician.
Taken from "Don't Believe The Truth" album
"Let There Love" Oasis
Played really slowly, around about 90bpm
I tend to play using mostly down strokes only until you get to the break which I play freely up and down.
Has some nice chord changes and are all as follows. You may like to capo the second fret for a brighter feel to the song. However I don't!

Hi Rodders,
afraid your going to have to give me a clue on this one. Don't know it at all. I lost touch with Oasis after the "Whats The Story Morning Glory" phase.
Chris.
The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)

Thanks Rod,
Now I know it, great song.
I thought the video was almost a parody of The Beatles At Shea.
