Modern Rock- One Creed

OK, five years ago when Creed was cool, this was a big hit.
It is a great song, not too difficult to play, and sounds great.

Intro- also played throughout verses

e---------------------------------------------------------------------
b---------------------------------------------------------------------
g---------------------------------------------------------------------
d------------------------------9h11---11--11---9—-11---/14---
a--7-7-7--6-6-6-6-6-X------0--------0----0---0-----0-----0---
e--9-9-9--9-9-9-9-9-X---------------------------------------------

e------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b------------------------------------------------------------------------------
g------------------------------------------------------------------------------
d---9----9---9--9--9----9--9---9--9-----4---4-4-4-4--4-4-4-4-4-4—-
a--11--11-11-11-11--11-11-11-11----2---2-2-2-2--2-2-2-2-0-0----
e---0----0---0--0---0---0---0--0---0---------------------------------------

This riff repeats through all verses

Chorus- I feel angry...

e---------------------------------------------------------------------------
b---------------------------------------------------------------------------
g--4--////-//////-----------------------6--////-//////---------------------
d--4--////-//////----4--////-//////----6--////-//////-----6--////-//////--
a--2--////-//////----4--////-//////----4--////-//////-----6--////-//////--
e--------------------2--////-//////------------------------4-////-//////---

OK, play that twice and go back to the original riff for Verse 2.
After the 2nd verse, play this section 4 times.

Then, the little instrumental break

e---------------2----------2---------------------------4--------------------
b-------------------------------2--------------------------------------------
g------------4----------------------3--------------6--------------------5--- X 2
d-------4-------------------------------------6----------------------6------
a---2-------------------------------------4-----------------------6---------
e---------------------2--------------------------------------4---------------

Decending bass line- Whoo—oo—ah

e--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
g--------4-----4------------4-----4--------------4-----4------------1—--1--- X 2
d-----4-----4-----4------4-----4-----4-------4-----4------4-----2----2—--2--
a--2-------------------1-------------------0------------------------------------
e-----------------------------------------------------------------0---------------

Go back to Chorus riff and play till the end.

That's it.

OK Wes you got me again - never heard of creed let alone this song........

Glad you liked Wild Horses, Twisty wants a tab for "Start Me Up" - told him that's your thing, the Keef "part-chords" thingy and said to him if we both ask you nicely.......... please?

:D

Vic

I tabbed this for the younger people. You have probably heard this song and don't realize it. It was a #1 hit a few years back. Creed was the #1 band then.

I used to know how to play Start Me Up years ago. It's in the open G tuning. I was experimenting today to try to figure it out. If I do, I'll tab it.

See, if I followed my own advice and put everything in a notebook, I'd have it now.
