Keep in mind, we are looking for songs that a beginner can play.
You need to spell it out for us.
A little lesson would help also.
If you can look at the database you can see just what we are looking for.

This is your chance to be the teacher.
I know that this is a lot of work, but we need more than just a web tab file.
Make believe that you are teaching someone for the first time.  And that they do not have an ear to pick up stuff from hearing the song.  And keep it simple, cut corners where you can.  After we get better we can add in the bells and whistles.  We are looking for just the basic to get the just of the song.

hey

im thinking this song might be a lil difficult for a beginners database ?
hell, tab it out anyways, loads of people will use it :)

but if you're a foos fan, why not try doing Big Me ? thats a pretty easy tune that would transcribe well into the database format i think

mord

This is my signature. Fear it.

I'm sorry, cause it seems that i didn't understand what you were looking for
I thought that you where looking for all types of challenging material for "begginers", but not that kind of first-time-playing newbies.
Im sorry
I've played the guitar for just 1 year, and I've found myself stuck on the same "really-easy" songs time after time... what i needed was only a few ideas to work on something, like palm mute, left hand mute, harmonics, power chords... and just developed it my own way... I think this is challenging and can motivate more than a step by step guide to playing songs
That... of course is only my ideas

Sorry again about posting what you're not looking for
May I delete the post? How?
Thanks

I'll delete it in a little while.

However, just to clarify, I see the database as more of a "chord learning" device than a "technique learning" device.  So, you know a couple of chords, and need to have some cool stuff to practice switching between them.  As an added bonus, the database urges you to learn other chords by indicating songs that have the chords you say you know and one other... so if you learn just one more chord you can do it.  So, it should kind of motivate beginners to increase their chordal vocabulary.

Just my 2 cents, and I am sure Bull, cagey, mordeth and others probably have a different take on it.  That's cool.  In my opinion, the sign of a good thing is one that means different things to different people.
