Then back to the intro/verse riff again………….
This is the first time I've tried to put the things I've learned from Wes and Grim to good use – if it sounds ok, thank them –if it doesn't then it's my fault.
partial chords
And if it does sound OK try some of their other tabs – these guys have heads stuffed full of classic rock songs!!!
Wish Mr Spock had taught me that Vulcan mind-meld………………
Thanks again to Wes and Grim for the help and encouragement………..
Vic
And if you can work out one word in five of the lyrics then "Mister you're a better man than I am".................
"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Alright Vic
Can't wait to try this out tomorrow.
Keep tabbing. :D
Wes
Is this done in Keith's open tuning? Or is it standard EADGBe?
And, yes, I think Wes and Deadlock should receive medals for all the great work they've done with these songs.
Blame it on the lies that killed us, blame it on the truth that ran us down.
This is standard E A D G B E tuning - every other tab I've ever seen for this has it in open D or open G - sorry I am too lazy and too set in my ways to start farting about with open tunings - so i'll call it as i see it........
Apart from the open tunings I use for slide.........
Then again if Keef could show me how.............
"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Wes's "Alright now" is still the best one I've seen - Grim's "whole lotta love " is a very good and a very close second - what d'you think people?
A big hand for Wes and Grim
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Don't ever stop rockin'...................
Vic
:D :D :D :D :D :D
"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Woohoo Thanks Vic. I'll be on this tonight. Mucho thanks to all three of you. Some killer songs have been posted by all of you. I should be busy for months. :D
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"
Lyrics to Start Me Up.
Start Me Up (Jagger/Richards)
If you start me up
If you start me up I'll never stop
If you start me up
If you start me up I'll never stop
I've been running hot
You got me ticking gonna blow my top
If you start me up
If you start me up I'll never stop
You make a grown man cry
Spread out the oil, the gasoline
I walk smooth, ride in a mean, mean machine
Start it up
If you start it up
Kick on the starter give it all you got, you got, you got
I can't compete with the riders in the other heats
If you rough it up
If you like it you can slide it up, slide it up
Don't make a grown man cry
My eyes dilate, my lips go green
My hands are greasy
She's a mean, mean machine
Start it up
If start me up
Give it all you got
You got to never, never, never stop
Never, never
Slide it up
You make a grown man cry
Ride like the wind at double speed
I'll take you places that you've never, never seen
Start it up
Love the day when we will never stop, never stop
Never stop, never stop
Tough me up
Never stop, never stop, never stop
You, you, you make a grown man cry
You, you make a dead man (radio edit)
You, you make a dead man (radio edit)
