I found the tab, but can't find anything on the strumming pattern for this great old classic. Any ideas?

hi

What tab are you using, is it in the key of E??, that is to say

E, A, B7

I think this is a fairly typical Cash song, bass strum (so hit bass note, then strum, bass note, strum) with little bass runs between the chord changes.

Perhaps someone could suggest some suitable runs - I am just as interested as you to learn this song.

Perhaps David Hodge could comment, he's good at these little fills!

cheers

Matt

Yes, the tab I have is in the key of E. Here's a website showing an easy intro into the song- http://www.theguitar.net/folsom.htm

It's a fairly straight forwad song-the "key" is in the strumming. It has the signature sound and makes the song.
