Does anyone know the strumming pattern for Steal My Kisses by Ben Harper? I have listened to the song over and over and can't seem to get the rhythm down. Any Help would be appreciated.

when I play it I change it around a bit...the song is all 3 chords repeating, so I change it up to make it interesting

even do a totally muted bit after the 2nd chorus, sort of like emulating the beat box bit - just adding a break into the song

- one bit of advice:

on the odd occasion (perhaps when not singing) delay the C, and then slide it upto D (or D upto E, depending on what key your playing in) - adds a nice little effect

I use G C D G

On the Live CD he might shift up a key to A D E A

All barre chords with lots of percussive/muted strumming. Think of it as playing your guitar as bongos and you'll get the right idea.

And if you like Ben Harper "Steal My Kisses"... a great follow up to that is Jack Johnson "Bubble Toes" using the same strum and mute concept with even more muted strumming.

E doesn't = MC2, E = Fb

Music "Theory"? "It's not just a theory, it's the way it is!"
