Here's Richard Thompson's son's latest single from his album "A Piece of What You Need".
CAPO II
A D A
Got an easy place to be
A E A
In my arms, oh in my arms
A D A
Got a simple space to feel free
A E A
In my arms, oh in my arms

E
Keep it on the recent
Keep it on the now
Give me an easy way o-o-o-ut

A D A
It's a lonely world that I got
A E A
In my arms, yeah in my arms
A D A
Not much to feel for me
A E A
In my arms, oh in my arms

E
Keep it on the recent
Keep it on the now
Give me an easy way o-o-o-ut

Solo

E
Keep it on the recent
Keep it on the now
Give me an easy way o-o-o-ut

A D A
Got an easy place to be
A E A
In my arms, oh in my arms
A D A
Got a lot of room to get lost
A E A
In my arms, oh in my arms

A E A
Yeah in my a-a-a-a-rms

It would be much appreciated if somebody could sort out the coding on this so that the D chord is in the right place on "Got a lot of room to get lost". It ought to fall on room, but because I'm utterly inept at coding chord sheets as yet, I haven't been able to make that happen. Anyway, hope you enjoy the chord sheet for the song.

Take care,

Casey

Shady - if you use a monospace font like New Courier, ie everything takes up the same amount of space/pixels whether it's a letter or a dot - you'll find it much easier to line up. for example, I don't know this song - but just guessing where the chord changes might be, I copied your tab to notepad and moved a few chords around. This is what happened....

There is another way to do it - if it's just rhythm chords and lyrics....put the chords in brackets just before the lyric where the chords change, ie where you'd normally put the chords directly over where they change, put them AS they change....

For example.....

D/A/G/D

(D)I see a (A)bad (G)moon (D)rising,
(D)I see (A)trouble's (G)on the (D)way,

etc.....

(EDIT - I didn't change the first section, which is why the chords don't line up - I forgot to mention that!)

:D :D :D
