This is a great song by the Oils, from one of their last albums before the "end" of the band (The Real Thing, 1999). It has a great acoustic feeling, with harmonica and percussion. The strumming here is not quite easy, but you can get it by listening to the intro. Have fun!

THE LAST OF THE DIGGERS - Midnight Oil

Em C Em C

Em C
Who will march for peace
Em G D Em
Now that the last of the diggers has gone
C
All those who were released
Em G D Am
From Suvla Bay and from the Somme
G
The Mallee's whipped by sand
Am G D Em
A great new silence blankets the land
C
We sure need the Stone Age
Em
In the coming century

Who will feed the poor
Now that the saint of the gutters is gone
Who will hear the call
You lately come or native born
For the touch of the master's hand
The eye of the master still watches the lamb
We sure need the Stone Age
In the coming century
