Ok, here's the basic C,G I play:

(C) D * (G) U/UDU (C) D * (G) U/UDU play each chord through without stopping, the * is a mute and the / (slash) really isn't so much of a pause as it is just the time it takes to hit the upstroke again.

C, D, Em, C progression :

(C) D * (D) U/UDU (Em) D * (C) U/U*U and then back to the C, G progression above. The mute on the last C is to break up the rythem since you are going back into the C,G progression

(D) D*U/U*UD* (Em) U/U*U (C) D*UU*U (G) D*UU*U play into each chord without pausing and come back into the C,G progression after this
part is over.
