I know I saw some people with penguins under their user name. Does anyone want to recommend music or guitar programs for linux that they've had some success with along with a link to where they got it? Tuners, metronomes, etc.
With a few replies, I think this thread can be pretty useful to linux users.
I can recommend a TEX application for making guitar tab, it's pretty popular, so you probably know it already. Anyway, its called GuitarTex and can be found at:

99.9% of the software listed on these pages is Open Source (i. e. free as in freedom) or freeware ( free as in beer ).
