hi everyone
im looking at building my first pedal board and keen on some comments and suggestions

guitar and amp: fender custom tele into hot rod delux
pedals: crybaby, boss ds1, eh small clone chorus, boss rc2 loop pedal
pedals on the way: ibanez ts9, mxr classic fuzz 108, boss tu3 tuner

my idea is to set the board up with a true bypass loop strip
Guitar -> tu3 -> crybaby -> mxr 108 -> bypass strip (loop 1: ds1) (loop 2: ts9 -> small clone) (loop 3: rc2) -> amplifier

I was also thinking of modding the crybaby so that its true bypass, since i dont use it all the time
i play funk punk reggae

does your amp have an effects loop? That sounds like a great setup.

I personally am not a fan of having chorus before my distortion/preamp, but I've never played into a hotrod deluxe before. If you have an effects loops, i would suggest putting the chorus afterward and see what you think.

thanks for the reply.

the hrd has an effects loop so i could run the send/recieve leads to the chorus on my pedal board. ill try it out and see how it works.

i definitely want the chorus before the loop pedal. ive never tried using the loop pedal in the effects loop so im not sure how it would work.

im away working for the next few days but ill let you know how it goes when i get home
