hi all, hope the playing is going well, quick question, has anyone used or owns one of these ???? are they any good ??? does it just plug into your normal playing amp (i use a marshall mg35 dfx) or do you need an array of cables ????

they are very easy to use - just plug your guitar in, and then plug the pod into the amp. you can get a great variety of tones and effecs and can save them in the memory banks for quick access to them.
however, unless you also buy the floorboard controller they will let you down for gigging as you wont have a way of switching between settings mid song i.e changing tone for a solo etc.
i have a pod 2.0 but no floorboard and so i also have to hook up some boss pedals tro it, and that does get to be a mess of cables. the only thing is the floarboards are certainly not cheap.
