Can anyone advise on getting the guitar sound right for Living on a prayer? I know he uses a talk box (which I don't have) so how can that be emulated with other effects / technique. Also how else is the sound achieved e.g bass/mid/treb etc. Anyone out there in a Bon Jovi tribute act perhaps that can help me get close to the sound on the record?
By the way, I ought to mention I'm using an acoustic marshall 100 watt combo and a digitech rp200.

I've heard guys get kinda close to the sound with a wah, some were not too bad. Course, there is no substitute for the real talk box!
If you have a multi effects box, you can try using an auto wah but as Katmetal pointed out, it won't sound quite right but probably close enough for most people.
