Hi, friends.

I apologise for being a couple of days late with this one, but up 'til today, I hadn't played yet this year, so couldn't really contribute. Just for fun, what was your first chord, or song, of 2011?

Mine was an A chord, kicking off an original entitled 'Where Coyote Goes'

Looking forward to hearing what you played!

Shady

Take care,

Casey

Hey, Shady! It's good that you played something. :D

I forgot, but did it by accident. At 1 am. I went up to my room to take a new Telecaster apart... very carefully.

I was playing CD # 3 track 14 "The Stumble" by Jeff Beck after rockin' out to "Wild Thing" and "Sleepwalk" on box set http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beckology My fingers just went automatically to the board to feel and bend some strings and see if it was in tune with the track, even though not plugged in, the Tele is very resonant or acoustic. It was nearly in tune. It is no longer together or in tune. Here's to puttin 'er back together some way, somehow in a new form in the New Year.

Only Jeff plays so many pinch harmonics, he wastes no time & gets on it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-ubiYYNwc0

Mine would be an F - the opening chord of MBube, which I was learning on a Ukulele that Santa gave me for Crimble.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Hmm hard to remember what my actual first chord or note was. I've been workign on a couple things and it could have been either the opening chord for High Road Easy or the opening bend to AC/DC solo in Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

First note I played was a G on the 3rd fret of the bottom E string; first chord I played was an E. First song I played was "Sin City" by AC/DC.

Next year I think I'll wait till a few seconds after midnight and welcome the New Year in with an E7(#9) chord just for the hell of it!

:D :D :D
